This listing is for one Red Mosaic Dumbo Guppy

The Red Mosaic Dumbo Guppy (Poecilia reticulata) is a true showstopper, known for its vivid colors and signature large pectoral fins that resemble "elephant ears." This striking guppy displays a dazzling array of red, orange, blue, violet, and even bright yellow hues. Uniquely, even the females exhibit vibrant colors, adding a splash of life to any aquarium.

Habitat: Where They Thrive

While guppies typically swim near the surface, their inquisitive nature often draws them to explore the middle and lower parts of the tank. Known for their jumping tendencies, it's important to secure your aquarium with a lid or canopy. Low-maintenance and peaceful, these guppies won't harm plants or bother calm tank mates. However, be mindful of fish that might nip at their long tails. Adult dwarf shrimp make good companions, but shrimp fry might be at risk. Larger invertebrates are safe and suitable tank mates. Red Mosaic Dumbo Guppies prefer being kept in groups, as they enjoy the company of their own kind.

Diet: A Taste for Variety

When it comes to feeding, these guppies aren't picky. They thrive on a varied diet, including high-quality flake food, pellets, and occasional treats like frozen or freeze-dried tubifex and bloodworms. Their lively feeding habits make mealtime an engaging experience.

Conclusion:

The Red Mosaic Dumbo Guppy, with its stunning "elephant ear" fins and bold colors, is a fantastic choice for both beginners and experienced aquarium enthusiasts. Adding this beautiful and easy-to-care-for fish will bring dynamic energy and elegance to any tank. Don’t miss the chance to experience their captivating beauty!

They are great for almost any freshwater aquarium as well.
