The Yellow Cobra Guppy, a captivating variant of the Poecilia reticulata guppy species, boasts a striking yellow snakeskin pattern that extends gracefully from nose to tail.

These guppies thrive in aquariums of at least 60 liters, known for their peaceful temperament and compatibility with tankmates of similar disposition. Despite their hardy nature and tolerance for minor fluctuations in water parameters, maintaining optimal conditions, including temperature, pH, and nutrient levels, is essential for their well-being.

Breeding Yellow Cobra Guppies is relatively straightforward, making them suitable for both novice and experienced aquarists. An ideal breeding setup includes floating plants and a breeding box to protect the fry from potential predation by adult guppies. Fry should be nourished with a diet consisting of brine shrimp, micro food, and pulverized flakes to support their healthy growth.

To ensure proper nutrition, Yellow Cobra Guppies require a balanced diet comprising algae-based foods and meaty fare. This includes algae-based flake food, freeze-dried bloodworms, tubifex, and brine shrimp.
